Consumer unit upgrade in Woolston

A homeowner in Woolston asked us to upgrade their consumer unit to improve electrical safety, as the existing installation did not have RCD protection on every circuit.

We installed a new FuseBox consumer unit with individual RCBO protection for all circuits and a Type 2 surge protection device. This provided each circuit with its own residual-current and overcurrent protection, alongside added protection against transient voltage surges.

The work included inspection and testing, with an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC), an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) and Building Regulations notification provided to document the upgrade.
