Landlord inspections

EICR pricing and quotations

EICRs from £100 + VAT (£120 including VAT)

The final price depends on the property, number of circuits and consumer units, access and inspection scope. We agree the price before booking.

Send the property postcode, number of bedrooms and a photograph of each consumer unit. Include the number of circuits if known, any off-peak supply and whether the property is occupied.

We confirm the inspection scope, access arrangements and total price, including any applicable VAT, in your quotation. HMOs, commercial premises, multiple consumer units and larger or unusual installations need an individual assessment.

Remedial repairs, replacement parts, additional investigation and return visits are separate unless included in the quote. Any additional work and its cost are discussed before proceeding.

How to arrange work

  1. Send the details. Include the property address, work required, inspection report where available and your preferred timescale.
  2. Agree access and scope. Let us know whether the property is occupied, who arranges access and who can approve any additional work.
  3. Arrange the visit. We agree the work and discuss any expected interruption to power before the visit.
  4. Receive the relevant records. Reports or certification are provided as appropriate to the work completed.

Questions from landlords and agents

Can you review an EICR from another contractor?

Yes. Send the complete report so we can review its observations. Some faults require investigation before the repair scope and price can be confirmed.

Can you help with several properties?

We can discuss a programme of inspections or maintenance. Send the property list, due dates and access arrangements so we can assess the work and availability.

What should tenants know before testing?

Testing can involve temporary power interruptions. Access is needed to the consumer unit and the areas agreed within the inspection scope. We can help you explain the visit when arranging access.
